Make a submission: Journal of Afrikan Design
Your submission must comply with the following to be considered.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- Submissions must not be more than 8000 words, excluding references, abstract and annexes.
- The submission file must be in Microsoft Word, using this template.
- Abstract: For each article, the author must provide a brief abstract in English. As the Journal is of interest to a multilingual community, the English abstract may be followed by additional abstracts in African indigenous languages.
- The text must adhere to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined below.
Author Requirements
- The submission must be prepared using the Journal template which provides guidance on the sections required, references etc.
- Before submitting, please separate the Cover sheet with author names, and save this as a PDF. It is uploaded separately.
- Remove all identifying author information from the submission file. This includes the cover page, author names, affiliations, or anything that will assist the reviewer to identify the author.
- Formatting: Single line spacing, 12pt font. Use italics and NOT underlined (except with URL addresses); ALL illustrations, figures, and tables are within the text at the appropriate place, not at the end.
- References: The abbreviated Harvard system of citation must be used. References must accessible to the public - no internal links. Proprietary information may not be cited.
